My bio in short

I was born and raised in Pireas, Greece.

I have been primarily qualified as a Medical Doctor specialised in Laboratory Medicine, a mixture of Medical Microbiology-Virology and Immunology, Heamatology and Transfusion Medicine, Clinical Biochemistry, and Internal Medicine. I am currently based in the Department of Hygiene, Epidemiology and Medical Statistics at the Medical School in Athens. You can see more details in my Publication List.

Recognition

I have been awarded the "Ioannis Vlyssidis" award from the Academy of Athens and the Marie Curie Prize of Promising Research Talent from the European Commission.
